Funeral Home Chapel Service
For over 60 years, the funeral service taking place in the funeral home chapel has been the standard in our community. A sense of comfort and familiarity are welcome feelings for those who have suffered a loss. The dedicated and professional staff members of the Green Funeral Home are committed to providing the best possible support and guidance to make this most difficult time bearable. Our chapel is equipped with audio and video equipment should the need arise to record or transmit the service to family and friends that can not attend for reasons of health or distance.
For some, a chapel service may not be the best situation. A graveside service may be more appropriate for those families who wish to keep the proceedings more intimate. Family and friends would gather at the cemetery at which time prayers would be said and the committal service would take place. Our staff can assist you in determining which option is best.
Out of Town Services
Out of Town Death
In today’s mobile society, families are not always residing within the community that they called home. The death of a loved one can occur anywhere, but they still desire to be buried with other family members. Their wish is to go home. When a death occurs out of state, a call to our funeral home will begin the process of bringing your loved one home.
Out of Town Funeral
Many times the funeral service will take place in our funeral home chapel with the burial taking place in the family plot in an out of state cemetery. Then there are times that the family wishes to have the service and burial take place out of state. The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home has the expertise to handle all the necessary arrangements no matter what the situation.
Recognizing the changing times
As the times have changed, so have the needs of our community. Cremation with a memorial service may be the appropriate option for your family. Our professional staff is available to answer all of your questions in regards to cremation and to help plan the memorial service should you wish it to take place in the funeral home.
